Vortec Motor ?
Thinking of buying a used 36,000mile vortec block, crank , rods, and speedpro fordged pistons and rings....Any one have any comments about this or advice........wanting to know if the stock vortec rods are very strong. Let me know. Thanks

I don't think theres anything out of the ordinary from a regular shortblock. The crank and rods are just regular ol' stock rods and crank they aren't a particularly strong casting nor a weak one (that I know of)
