Okay, I recently replaced my battery, and my alternator at Auto Zone. When I initially installed the battery, and alternator, it was all good, charge good, everything, then later the same day, I start it, and the charge went down to about 10-8, then I started it and it was at about 5, driving it around town for about 20 minutes killed it, so i figured that the alternator was bad, I took it into autozone, and they said it was good, it was charging just fine, What could cause my alternator not to charge? I've checked all the wires and nothing seems damaged...Just to let u know, I have been having fan probs. and recently wired it to a switch to where they both kick on when I flip it, I wired it out of tring diff. wires to see which gave the fans juice. These wires are on the driver's side, by the firewall. I had a relay there before to where my fans would come on when I turned the car on. I live in south texas, HOT! What could be the prob....Please HELP!!!!!!!
