Removed AC, Control question.

So I removed my entire A/C system recently. I'm planning on putting a non-ac heater box in next.

How can i switch out my old A/C and heat controls for the "factory" non-ac controls. any problems with linkage and whatnot?

On my 90 Firebird, the a/c controls are vacuum operated where as the non a/c are cable driven, i didn't feel like going through all the work and just changed the face plate.
I assume it could be done though

Ditto, it's kind of a PITA. I used parts from both faceplates so that the control reads the same, but the surround panel doesn't say AC anywhere. This way you can use all of the stock controls and they still work, just the airconditioning script is missing.
