xtreme energy cam and 987 valve springs

Is anybody running a xtreme energy cam and the 986 or 987 valve springs? If so what valve seals are you using. The heads I am getting are machined for the 1.437" valve springs but they have pc seals. Comp recommends the 503 umbrella seals. Is it worth it to have the guides machined for the umbrella seals. Thanks

I won't run anything else besides the Teflon seals. Either the Comp ones, or Crane, who also offers them in a .500" diameter.

Right now I'm running a XR264HR in this weenie 305 I'm driving, with 1.6 roller rockers, 986 springs, and the .530" seals (the California smog ***** didn't look under my valve covers!). Seems to work fine. Absolutely no trace of oil ingestion whatsoever.

No.... it was basically free, since I was getting the spring pockets cut for the 986s at the same time. You can use one tool, one operation, to do both steps.

Cool, I have to get the spring pockets machined anyway. Thanks
The total for all the pieces I need for the retrofit setup keep adding up and I didn't want to spend any money on anything that I didn't really need. Thanks
