i was just thinking, how does a dyno correctly measure your hp if you have ram air/hood scoop/blower ect. that rely on wind blowing into it?

It doesn't. It doesn't account for any ram air or cold air induction usually.

The gains from those things at speed are negligible at best, save for the blower. Nothing has really proven to generate any pressure about 1 atmosphere. The blower doesn't need to be moving to work, it just takes the air it has, and shoves it down into the engine.

Fer rizzle, cold air would show up tho...just not quite as much since there isnt free flowing cold air and the engine is heating up the air around it

Typically when you get dynoed, your hood is open with a huge fan blowing on it so your hood means nothing. "Ram Air" is just a marketing gimmic.

Right, Raim Air induction does work, just have to be going at higher speeds. The NASCAR Craftman Truck Series used Ram Air since their inception in '95. They did however switch to cowl induction starting in '04. But as far as street vehicles, I don't see it helping any. Looks cool though.
