centerbolt valvecover conversion kit

ok, i'm converting my L98 to 1.6 roller rockers and of course run into the dilemma of having to pay cranecams $300 for a set of narrow-body roller rockers. a ripoff i tell ya. well, i heard that there is an adapter you can buy that will convert your centerbolt heads to receive traditional perimeter-bolt valve covers. anybody know where i can find these? or at least where i could buy a set of narrow-body rockers at a reasonable price?

you don't need to go through any of that. Just modify your existing valve covers.

I wouldnt run the cranes. I'd go with teh comp pro mags. they fit under stock cover without mods.

now i realize that the stock valvecovers need to be modified even with the narrow body rockers i believe but isn't the real issue that the standard size aluminum roller rockers won't clear the actual valve cover bolts?

I don't think so. I believe they have issues with the supports, not the bolts.

You have comp pro magnum roller rockers under your stock centerbolt valve covers with no modifications?
