Valve Cover Holes
Valve Cover Holes
Here is the setup. 87 T/A with a 350 out of an 87 TBI truck. Has Edelbrock Performer 1406 carb and a non computer controlled dist.
The valve covers on it are the stock ones. It has a large hole on the pass side that currently has a PCV valve and a hose going to the open air element. The driver side has a tiny opening that is currently blocked off. ls this ok, or am l messing up somewhere?

The setup should have a PCV (was originally on the driver side) and then its a tossup. I have seen some with a second PCV and then theres others with just a breather tube. That is what I would do, run the other hole into the open element as well.

PCV valve should go to a constant vac. source.
The other side can go to the air cleaner or just have a breather.
