Will This Work?
I am putting in a GM Goodwrench 350 and I was going to use my stock intake and carb from my 305, but my brother said he wasn't sure if my old carb will be able to give the 350 enuff fuel and not starve it. Has anyone had this experience or know if I need to buy a new carb.
unless you want to deal with a lot of ecm related problems you'll have to keep the same carb and intake as far as i know. it should supply the bigger engine just fine unless you run it at higher rpm for extended periods of time.

If its computer controlled, thats not as a big of a deal as it might seem. You can change the rods without it knowing any better, and richen it up. Ask on the carb board, Im sure someone can point you in the right direction. GM also has the ZZ4 conversion, which uses a couple different parts for the carb to make it work with the ZZ4.

GM sells the "HO 350" conversion kit, and they were generouse enough to give a breakdown of the parts.
Under the catagory of "calibration" they list:
ECM: 1228079
PROM: (depends on year)
Knock sensor: 10456288
ESC Module: 16128261
Secondary Metering rods: 7033812
Cooling fan switch (95*C): 3053190

well i bought a new accel hei dist. and it doesn't have the hook up for the computer, so that shouldn't have any effect right, which means the comp. is totally disconnected right.

If it has a vacuum advance, then don't worry about the computer stuff, but do pick up the secondary rods. I would take a look at the "carb" board, they may have a better suggestion than the "AH" rods that I gave the P/N for.
