where to buy gas tank??

I have found a few (gastanks.com/goodmark/yearone). They are all around $250...I know that is not a lot, but I found out Autozone has them for around $150. Has anyone used the Autozone tanks??? I figure they can't be that bad, but has anyone had any problems with them? Or does someone know anywhere else that I can get one for cheaper than $200. I am kind of on a tight budget...
Thanks for any help.

Try a junkyard, usually around $50.00 with pump and sending unit included in the deal.

THanks for the reply.

I thought about that, but I am not sure if I feel comfortable doing all of this work and putting in a tank that is at least 12 years old, especially with all the problems our cars have had relating to the tank...

Anyone else?

I know that it's probably not much help, but I'll give you the tank out of my 89 Iroc.

The bad part is you would have to find a way to get it from here in southern Illinois.
It would be really tough to ship since it has gas in it!

I have had the tank from Autozone in my car for about 3 years, no problems at all. Just dont use there fuel pump, I put one in when I did the tank and already had to replace it. This time I got the Walbro pump.

Thanks for the offer 70GTO, but I don't feel like a road trip right now...

Autozone said they no longer offer that tank anymore, since the manufacturer has had them out of stock for so long...EVEN THOUGH it is still on their website as a special order....NAPA can specially-order me one but it will be around $200+....a used tank is starting to look pretty good, now...any more info, guys???
