Changing cap/rotor along with plugs today and when I pulled them out they didn't look as clean as I'd expected or I have gotten in the past. ALL of them had a white powder on them and had a green tint to them. I think the head gaskets are gone and I'm burning a bit of coolant. What do you guys think? The engine has 193K on it and still runs strong. Just to add, the coolant was a little low but not much, and the coolant overflow bottle was empty.
Opinions welcome, and thanks for looking.

I'm saying lean and I was trying to see how your timing was, a few plugs looks like the timing is pretty good and others it's hard to see and say for sure. Get the fuel mixture right so you have a good base line to start with.

Looks like a lean condition.
Hard to see/tell for sure.
Is this the '91 RS or the '88 Roc?
Timing, low octane gas, water.
Reminds me I need to pull a few plugs this weekend on my '91 RS. I also suspect a head gasket on the drivers side.

i'll go along and say lean as well, but it's really hard to, or for me, to see very clearly what they really look like. the pics aren't the same as holding them in my hand, at arms length so i can see them.
