Gas smell from the inside

Every time I go to my car after letting it sit for a while w/ the windows up, there's a gas odor inside. Is this normal for thirdgen's?

Over,

No, and I'm not sure how gasoline vapors could be entering the passenger compartment. You might want to check the EVAP canister for slugging and saturation, but that's just a wild guess.

Overclk, have the filler of your gas tank checked out. At one time I notice of gas odor coming from my car. I found out there is was a recall on my car for that. Got it fixed for free.

The recall does not cover all cars, but it does some. Just go to a GM Dealership and have them plug in your VIN#. Because I live in Canada we have different laws. But because it effectively involve part of the emissions equipment of the car, GM had to fix it. Check it out. You got nothing to lose and a possible fix for free.

Yah, I already had the car less than a month ago for the recalls. There was the filler neck, and the transmission shifter cable recalled.

Wasn't your car in an accident and you fixed her back up? If it was couldn't there be a pin hole in your tank? Just something to think about. Either that or your exhaust has a small hole.
