Vacume Leak refuses to leave me.

Its the passenger side back bottom part of the runner that refuses to seal good. Its an Edelbrock Basae and AS&M runners. I leaned this cause with the butterfly's close totally the car still idles at 1500 with IAC disconnected. I sprayed carb cleaner at it and the car stumbled so can i use a little rtv around the gasket? Thanks

It's better to find out the problem or obstruction keeping the parts from mating correctly, but in a pinch yes the RTV should seal it up no problem.
