There is a tech article here on thirdgen.org that explains how to route the belt and what size to use after you remove the smog pump. Or, you can install a smog pump delete pulley in place of the smog pump and keep the stock belt and routing. You can read about (and see pictures of) the smog pump delete pulley here and here.

Forgot to mention, there is also an A/C delete pulley as well. 1LE's got them since they did not get A/C. Sorry, don't have a part number for that one though. So if you got the A/C delete pulley and the smog pump delete pulley you could keep your stock belt and routing without having A/C or the smog pump.

first thing to do is if your a/c still works fo to a place that can take the freon out.. then i just started cutting the a/c lines i took everything out including the heater core and everything. i even took the box out i used a aluminum plate to cover up teh fan box hole and condensor hole. also u can take the condensor out of the front of the radiator. that helps free up some cold air to the radiator.. the belt number u need is 786k6 see if seanaullivan still comes to this board if he does he has a diagram on how to route the belt its pretty self explanitory though and that belt number is for the use with the 3 pc underdrive pullies so if u need anything else try to get ahold of him he helped me alot. hope this helps good luck!!
