stuck starter solonoid?
The other day I got into my car, and when I tried to start it up, it slowly cranked. So I turned off the ign., and removed the key, and the car kept cranking. It cranked until it the battery died. I remember in shop, something about this happening, but could I be wrong? I am having back troubles, so I can't just get under there and check it out, otherwise I would. But since I need to change my starter to the manual, it doesn't matter too much. But I would like to atleast turn it around to face my garage, so when I do the engine, and tranny swap, it will be easier. Any thoughts?

Sounds like maybe the solenoid shorted against something? Or the ignition switch did.
If you can't get it figured out, get a couple of friends (with good backs) to push the car into the right spot :-).

Thanks, maybe I'll just have to do that, or just leave it where it is.
