Choke Light
I know your choke light has to do with the alternator to.
My questions is though. When i turn the key off to my car. The choke light goes on for a sec then fades out.
I never noticed this before. I have only noticed it now when i have a battery drain problem.
Does anyone else choke light go on then off after they turn their car off?
Thanks in advance.

Yes. It is normal.
It happens because the alt still has some permanent magnetism as the engine coasts down, and that means it's still putting 12V on the one side of the bulb; while the other side of the bulb is more or less grounded by the various other ignition-powered accessories.

Great, now I'm going to have to go out to the parking lot and try it to see if mine does it...
Do it at night, with the dash lights off.
It also works best if you do it only in pajama bottoms while singing that "Outkast" song. No, wait - That's just a little too much...
This might explain it a little better:

I'm fairly certain the pajama bottoms part is not normal...
And I forgot to look.
They're saying it's normal.
