how do i get this fugger out?

ive taken out the bolts and nut that hold on the metal "cover" around the seal... but i cant get the stupid metal piece off.

help!

ive taken the day off work to get this stupid car back together, but i cant get the damn seal off and its holding me up.......

 

if you're sure all the bolts are out then you need to apply a little pressure to the seal holder, or whatever it's call. the seal would still be holding aginst the crank.

 

i got it just after i posted... of course.

i was just frustrated.... this is the first 1 piece rear main ive ever messed with.
