Alright guys this is what we got.

305 H.O. motor

Anti-freeze in oil.

Head Gaskets are fine.

We got smoke, oil and dope mixed coming out the tail pipes.

Heads look okay.

But, fouling plugs.

Block Looks fine.

No cracks anywhere.

So what do yall think? rings are bad?

This thing has been rebuilt, and it's not been rebuilt long. There is no ring wear at the top of the cylinder what-so-ever which is something I myself have never seen or heard to tell of.

On the gaskets I can't see anywhere were im loosing comp.

Do you think some dumbass just didn't ring the pistons?

I'm so confused with this guys. And I can get pics of the heads and gasket if that would help yall.

Any idea's?

Rings can't possibly do that. Forget them.

You have either a bad intake gsket; bad head gasket; cracked head or block, or intake; or you didn't put sealer on the head bolts or rocker studs.

Have you looked at the intake manifold gaskets as the culprits?

Sounds more like a hair line crack that was either missed at build-up or just occurred from a weak spot. Either way, with anti-freeze in the oil, you need to get it out fast or replace the whole Kaboodle.

I`d look at the intake valley real close, right under the bolt bosses for the heads, sometimes these cannot be seen with your eye and need magnafluxing to see. did the coolant mix occur fast or over time? Does it have a oil cooler? more info!

Like greezemonkey says, to properly check your engine or anything for cracks you would need to either x-ray or magnafux it. You could have an engine that doesn't appear to have any cracks, but once the engine warms up and you get some pressure built up they will appear.

have you mag or penetrante tested? had the block and heads pressure tested? i'd start with PTing since i could do that at home and the take it to a shop for pressure testing. might want to try a combustion gas tester too.
