PCV valve ?
Can I just hook the PCV valve straight to the carburetor with a single hose, or do I need to take it through the other routing system that is on the engine?

You probably could, although if it is still computer controled it might not run quite right. Do you plan to remove all the emission equipment and plumbing?

Yeah, I was planning on taking just about everything else off that is involved with emissions. I am also getting rid of all the computer control.

Yes. Thats what I did. One hose from the PCV valve to the carb is fine.
