which homemade ram-air kit are you talking about?

If you make it yourself it depends on how good you are.

Well Actually I made mine out of Alot of Duct Tape and actually made it with some AC ducting but only a Reducer. Seeing how I'm in New York, My car is'nt on the road yet. If I can get a picture I will to show you. But I actually used Duct Tape, 3M alumized Tape, and a 6*5 reducer, Taped it all up and screwed it all together, and it does'nt look all that bad I routed it threw the Back of the Fog Lights and I'm wondering how much I'll get our of this, I have removed the Foglights Completely,

Did you put any screen or anything in place of the fog lights? That is the only reason I haven't done this, I don't want two big holes in the front of my car.

Well if it's all sealed and the feed tubes are smooth and not corrigated, then the amount of power will depend on how fast you are travelling.
You will get a good amount of power increase just from the cooler intake air, but any kind of pressurization depends on vehicle speed and air density.
On a warm day you might have to go 90 mph to get any pressurization at all, but on a 20F degree day you may get pressure at 60 mph because of the increased air density.
The higher your trap speed the more power you can gain with ram-air.
I pulled 100mph at the 1/8 and 124 at the 1/4, and my system would add approx 27 rearwheel horsepower @ 80F degree air temp. My feed tubes also went to the foglight holes.

Thats impressive, do you just have two open holes there, though? I still would like to find a little grille or something :P

my tubes connected to sheetmetal scoops. I just ran them open and used a K&N element at the carb.

Has anyone with an early third gen thought of putting the openings in the three slits in the front of the car? Do you think this would work any better or worse, or just the same?
