Anybody who has replaced their hydraulic clutch system--->

Ok, I'm replacing the entire clutch hydraulics. I got the old one off and the new one on, almost. I'm putting the master cylinder into the firewall but I can't tell if the hose from it to the slave cylinder is supposed to go over or under the steering shaft. Anyone know? Or can someone go look at their car really fast?

Thanks

As a side note [rant mode on], I don't know if anybody remembers but I replaced the tranny cooler lines, rear main seal, valve cover gasket, seat belt, and serpentine belt on my sister's boyfriends jeep a week ago.. today he promised he would pay me the 500 bucks (including some for parts) but I just talked to my sister and he "can't pay me." I do him a favor by changing all of this crap and he doesn't even pay me a week later, and who knows when I will get paid..... grr. Perhaps I should have asked for a check then said "ok I'll cash it next wednesday."

The red pressure hose should go under the column. If it goes over then the slave won't fit.

Thanks, I think I'm going to write a tech article on this. I'm taking pictures and notes.

Step number one will be not to let the clutch pedal hit you in the forehead when you're trying to get it disconnected... owie.
