TPI Gaskets WTH!!
Ok, I am replacing my injectors so I need TPI gaskets (Throttle body, runners....etc)
Everyone tells me fel pro makes them for our cars. Well I go to autozone, and they couldnt find them, then they want to sell me a whole set of gaskets for $30.00. I do not need a ton of gaskets. Just the ones I need for the tpi.
Anyone have a part # or anything to help me out? Or was the $30 one the right one?

I think you're correct. Gaskets aren't expensive. Plus, most FelPros are reusable

I see plenum and throttle body gaskets... If I was more experienced with TPI I could be of more assistance. Sorry man.
I'd think that's all you need to change injectors though...

Yea me too. They couldnt get it through there head I wasnt pulling the whole entire intake manifold.
Thx for the help! It is appreciated!
IROC,
The FelPro gasket set you need is MS 93035-1. Thirty bucks is probably a good price. That set includes injector 'O' rings, and gaskets you probably won't use. Save the 'O' ring set, since the dealership gets about $23 bucks for that set alone. You'll also get intake base gaskets.
One thing you'll want to check on your gaskets is the sizing for the openings in the runners and plenum, and runners and base plate. FelPro and GM factory gaskets are a bit undersized, and may need to be trimmed to prevent flow obstruction. Trimming the gaskets should be done carefully, since they are laminated metal and fiber. The fiber shoudl be cut to avoid creating dust that may be inadvertently inhaled. I've used a 1¼" trade size (1.660") conduit punch to cleanly open the holes to the correct size.

And since you're changing injectors, and will have teh TPI disassembled for that project, you might want to check these articles and consider the benefits:
Plenum Porting.pdf
AFPR Conversion.pdf
There is no additional cost to the modification if you already have the TPI apart.

Autozone carries the following p/n:
MS93035-1 - this is a complete set of gaskets down to the intake manifold. Price $25.99.
MS93160 - This is so called upper sub-set of gaskets (TB, runners, etc. except the manifold itself). Price $17.99. Not sure if it includes the o-rings.
Both sets are Felpro made.
O'reilly sells same sets for the same price too.

the upper set alone does not come with o rings.
30 bucks is a real good price for the entire set(upper and lower)
and just a note to anybody who has this problem. never ask for "runner" or "plenum" gaskets. most people who work in these stores have no idea wtf those are. just ask for the upper intake gaskets. as thats how its specified in the computer catalogs.
