Ppl from British Columbia... Parts Car??
Ppl from British Columbia... Parts Car??
Anyone from BC know where the best place to look for a thirdgen parts car is? I've noticed they are fairly easy to find in the states... but I find it tough enough to find a POS v6 model in the junk yard let alone a T/A or Z28 model. Where's the best place to look locally?
Thank,
Jay

Unfortunately, there aren't many. A-United in Surrey might have a few, but there just aren't many. And when you do find one, they are seldom the later models.
I find it best to just ask the yard if you can have a look around.

Here in London Ontario there is plenty of scrap yards that have third gens, Corrys has 32 at last count, including 4 gta's that when they came in they were practicaly whole cars.
A-United is no longer in Surrey
they went bankrupt a while ago.
I'd suggest looking at Ralph's on Scott Road. They usually have a few third gen's kickin around.

Raplh's on Mitchell Island has a good amount of F-bodys. I always go there 'cause its close to my house. It's right under Knight St. bridge beside Marine Dr.

Hey [-sLaYeR-], the best place I have found is "David T's Camaro & Firebird", just over in Edmonton. I order all my stuff from there. They also have a website http://www.davidt.com Other than that I don't know. even around here parts are very hard to locate.

The few things I am looking for are as fallows... There are others as well but these are the main ones.
Fog Lamp Assembly (GM want $400 for em)
Power Window Motor and switches
Other than that, there are some things I wouldn't mind doing, such as getting a L98 or maybe even swapping in a 305 TPI, if not just making my TPI. I am mainly asking the question so that if I wanted to do things like that... where would the best place to go be. The answers have been very helpful guys. Thanks very much. I'm gonna have to check out that Ralphs one. If only ICBC would let us scroll there lot huh? (under queensburro) hehe
