Strange Problem, Wiring?
My car had been running quite decently, when the other day I hit a lovely bump in the road, and the ecm fell from under the dash. Still ran fine. No biggie, I had to do work on the car this weekend.
I just now stuffed the ecm back under the dash, changed NOTHING else on the engine. Everything else I did was cleaning and suspension maintiance. Now my car runs extreamly rich.
I dropped the ecm again, swapped in a different one, still runs rich.
Would this indicate a funky ecm, or bad wiring?

I've unplugged it a few times, even swapping ecms.
I'll check ground next time I'm working on it.

Double check and make sure that none of the wires are loose from the connector. Try giving each wire a little tug just to make sure that they are tight. What the heck kind of bump did you hit to knock the ecm down? They must have some serious road problems down in AR.
