Ok....I think this is sorta normal but I don't know for sure.

Ok If I am driving down a road pretty fast and have to suddenly go hard on the brakes it will sometimes stall out of try to. I'm assuming this is normal because the fuel is being moved to the front of the fuel bowl away from the jets? Would jet extentions help?

Could be going rich when the throttle slams shut, causing the motor to quit.

 

I'm not following to close...just if I need to suddenly stop for whatever reason.

It is a 670cfm holley street avenger. Its in good tune and not running rich...It has always done this since I bought it.

 

Did you confirm the float level ( on a level surface) after you installed the carb?
It may be part of the problem.

 

It could be the vacuum line going to the brake booster is split and leaky slightly, or even the diaphram in the booster.

 

I hope the booster isn't leaking. That would suck. I do hear a loud swoosh sound when I apply the brakes. I don't know if that is because of the booster or if its normal. I will check the vacuum line today and make sure its ok.

 

Normal, unless you can take it out of gear (N) and it still stalls under heavy braking.

 

In N its fine. I kinda figured it was normal.
