Some update information for Phil Parsons
Hey all,
Been a long time, but some of you may recognize me
Just wanted to get some general update info out there for anyone interested. You can reach me at recaro_ta@hotmail.com; as some have noticed the email addie on my web site [ http://www.racer-x.f2s.com ] is long outdated.
I know I haven't been heard from much, but I am still involved with 3rd Gens. I am designing my new site, which will be on a new server, since the current one is not working very well for me. The present site probably won't be updated at all so I can focus on the new one. Can't say when it might happen though, because I'm doing it in my spare time, and there ain't much of that to go around, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, take care, and I'd love to hear from some of the "old school" 3rd Genners, if there are any left.

HOLY S HIT!! Long time no see...good to see you haven't forgotten about us. My 85 Z was stolen a while ago, just picked up a 92 Z vert before christmas. Other than that it's the same old nonsense, although a lot of the old staples are now 4th gen drivers or long gone. Here and there you see Paul Huryk and Mike Bone around, but i think it's been a while for them as well.
...ed
ps...if you email dirk he'd fix your email addy in your old nick so you don't have to change. Or maybe you're changing on purpose?

Hey, great to hear from you guys! Nice to see that some of the old crew are still around. For a while I was so wrapped up in getting my career and my life going after I graduated that I just dropped a lot of the more enjoyable things -- the technology world has this way of sucking all of the free time from your life.
I still have the '84 Recaro, a very nice high nickel/tin 350 block, and a (mostly) complete TPI unit. I also have better funds than I had in college All I need to do is make the time, which will be much easier once we get rid of the 27" of snow that got dumped on us Tuesday. I actually still turn wrenches at a local garage on the weekends, and I think I'm going to try for ASE certification in engine repair this spring (I already hold certification in Light Truck/Auto Parts), although my web developer coworkers all think I'm nuts.
I'm really glad that people can still get some use from my site. Frankly, Im surprised that anything works -- it's so badly coded I can hardly stand it, and broken links are everywhere. Just out of curiosity I did some searching, and found my articles either referenced or translated in at least 3 different languages, which blows my mind. I also discovered that I'm fairly well known by the 'Vette crowd. These things get me very motivated to keep the site going.
When you guys have some time, drop me an email (or post here if you prefer) and let me know what's been going on with you over the last couple of years!

Hey guys!
Phil dropped me an E-mail and mentioned a little re-union on the 3rd gen board.
I'm still breathing. I have been as busy as always (I just can't sit down!).
Hope everything is going well for Everyone!
