Starter not engaging, interrupter switch clicking?
A few days ago while trying to start my car it turned over a few times, but didn't start. I let up off the ignition, but then when I tried it again it just made a clack-clack sound and didn't turn over. I've since isolated the clack-clack to the aftermarket ignition switch interruptor, and with your finger on it you can feel it move when you try to start the car. I've now tried a total of 3 different starters, a new switch interrupter, and have begin put in a new electrical cable between the switch interrupter and the starter. AND NOTHING WORKS!! The rest of the car has juice, the lights and radio work, but the engine won't turn over. I'm going to take one of the starters to get tested, but I was hoping someone else has an idea or two. My main fear is that for some ***-forsaken reason my engine is siezed up and the starter just can't turn it, but the car was running fine a week or so ago. HELP???

Have you checked the battery connections and or charging/jumping it?
Just because there's enough power to light a few bulbs doesn't mean there's enough to turn a starter. Big difference in demand.
