Would one from a Mustang work? Or a datsun 280zx? I know they all utilize the T5 Borg Warner.
What about other Fbody years. 87? 88? 89?

Will I be able to use my brand new Zoom clutch with it? That is my main concern. I don't want to do another clutch.

Not without some serious modifications. You would be better off with a 6speed swap IMO, or maybe a Tremec.

 

Well what about using a clutch from an older V8 fbody. Which ones would work with my clutch. Didnt the gear ratios change in some years?

Your 91 should already have a world class T5, and the only upgrade to that is a Tremec, a Richmond 6-speed, or a T56.

T-56 from a wrecked 4th Gen. Or you can keep replacing and replacing and replacing your WC T5.

Your supercharged 305 produces as much (if not more) power than an LS1. You need one of the best out there. Do it right, do it once.

BTW, with all that power, don't be surprised to also be looking at a rear end in the future. A Ford 9" should be in your "future mod" budget.

This is the cost of making power in a 3rd Gen, once you get into the 300-350 HP range, you need to start thinking power train.
