Rod Length??? 5.7 or 6

You also know that if the RPM is constant then it takes the same amount of time to travel from 2 to 5 degrees as it would take to travel from 5 to 8 degrees. At higher RPMs the amount of time to travel 1 degree would lessen but being in our case that it's constant it would always be the same amount of time for every degree.

These calcs were made using a 3.48" stroke, and a TI-83 calculator.

I'm saying that the distance between 2 - 5 degrees is the same whether you're traveling at 2000 or 5000 RPM. Yes it is different than the distance between 5 - 8 degrees but my point was that the same goes for 5 - 8 meaning that at ANY RPM the distance traveled between 5-8 or whatever is going to be the same. It's not dependent on RPM.
Edit:
Also in that quote I mentioned time being the same. So in your example while the distances are different the elapsed time is the same. Meaning the latter has a higher velocity.

ok that guy is just another story but thank you I have reading material at work tomorrow while I listen to people talk about how they want their rewards credit card to give them non-stope flights from manchester to portland oregon. or why do I have to take such a small plane from marthas vinyard. I know they have larger jets out of there. or why is it so much money to fly from white plains to london. I know if I flew out of jfk I could do so for so much less. "well ma'am you could fly out of jfk and save that much money" but I don't want to it's too much hassle and they are so close to each other can't you just give it to me for that price instead?
