Get some stage8 bolts with the locking tabs. They have them for intakes, headers, etc.

I have a set of ARP header locker bolts brand new in box 30.00 shipped. Tey wouldnt fit my SLP's because they have a lip that stops the bolts from locking.

The stage8 bolt kits aren't that bad. The heat will break down the loctite so that won't work real well.

Well, if you're good with it safety wire would be the next best thing next to the Stage 8s.

Just get header bolts drilled for .032" safety wire (use stainless steel wire).

Of course, you gotta use it properly for it to be effective. It takes a LOT of practice if you've never used it before...it can be a PITA if you're not patient, lol. I work on military helicopters so I use this stuff on a daily basis...the first time I ever tried to safety wire 2 bolts together it took like me 4 attempts, about an hour and a lot of cussing to get it right!

The down side? If you pull off your headers then you gotta cut the wire and redo it.

If you'd rather not deal with that, I also suggest the Stage 8 bolts.
