Where is everyone mounting their tach?

I did a search and didn't come up with the answers that I was looking for. I want the tach to be in a good location and be able to see it but do not want to block the road or the oncoming traffic. Please post your pics of where you mounted your tach. Thanks in advance.

A lot of people on this board mount it underneath the center vents. Easy to mount, pretty easy to see, and it doesn't hinder your vision at all.

I can get a picture of mine, but it probably wont be until tomorrow. What I did was mount mine hanging off the bottom of the dash directly in front of the cig lighter. I dont need that damn thing, and angling it towards the driver, it really made a neat cockpit like feel.

Thanks for the replies. Does the tach get in the way being under the center vents? I held mine up there and I didn't really like it. Seems like I'd hit it with my hand all the time. Anyone put theirs on the dash?

Here is a pic of mine. I couldn't decide where I wanted mine either and I wanted out of the way so I put it under the cig lighter. It turned out to be alright. And yes, my fuel gauge reads sideways.

Hey how do you go about hooking up new fuel gauges? I was wondering because I plan on doing a complete autometer gauge swap soon. Plus my gauge is toast.

I ended up putting in front of the A-piller. I really like it there. Easy to see and doesn't block my vision like I thought it would.
