113 heads and lt4 valves?

i am putting together a 383 with a converted lt1 intake, cc306 cam, and 113 heads that have extensive work done to them. i know i will have to have the heads cut to fit the larger valves- but other than that- lt4 valves will work won't they?

Why some kind of stock valves? Why not something good if you're going to go to all that trouble and expense?

the lt4 valves are larger than the 113 valves- not a lot- but every little bit helps. the lt4 valves are hollow/sodium filled- so they weight a lot less and get rid of the heat a lot better than the stockers. that plus the fact that i can get a new set of lt4 valves for next to nothin. my main question was about fitment- are the longer or anything like that- than the 113 stock valves?

Stock length for SBC valves such as the ones that come in 113s is 4.910". I don't know about the LT4 ones.
