L98 alternator
I think mine will go out soon, but I have this year old delco CS130 out of my truck (1995 TBI 350) that I COULD use in my camaro. Any idea if they would fit?
I usually go to oreillys for auto parts, and the 105 amp alt for the camaro is 321-464, and the 105 alt for my truck is 321-1035.
The camaro is about 300 miles from where I am right now, so I dont have a way to compare the two, but I had thought all CS130 alternators were the same.
BTW, the reason why I have this spare CS130 from my truck is because I am upgrading it to CS144 soon.

The big differences are usually the sheave diameter, number of grooves, sheave installation depth, and rear case clocking. If the vehicles both use the same width poly-V belt, you should be able to make it work if you reclock the rear case shell to the correct position.
I wrote "should" because there are other possibilities that might affect the fit. My GUESS is that you can make it work.

Thanks for the help.
Like I said, i dont have hte car in front of me right now, just pictures. From the pics I have (and alternators I can compare at parts stores), it looks like I can bolt up a CS144 and drive away.
I did this in my truck yesterday and it seems like I might be able to do the same in the camaro. Bracketry, pullies, and belts no problem (maybe).
