My friend says that the 91-92 Camaro Z/28 did not come stock with a 350 5.7L engine. I said that you could buy one straight from the dealership with the 350. Who is right me or him?

 

Well,, the Z28 i don't think came STOCK with one, You would have to order it. I'm living proof. i have a 91Z with a 305

you could get a 350 in any 91/92 z28, but ttop 350 cars are hard to find/almost nonexistant

 

You could also get 350 w/auto trans, but not a 350/manual combo.

You are right though, you could definitely get a 350 Z28 in 91 & 92. The base model Z28 was a 305, but a large number of them with the optional 350 were made.

Base model 91/92 Z28 was a 305 5spd. Then you could upgrade to 700R4 auto or opt for the 350TPI 700R4 combo.

You are right!

 

350 TPI with automatic was available from model years 1987 to 1992 in the 3rd gen Camaro and Firebird. 350 was not available on base cars.

 

Good thing you cleared that up almost 24 YEARS LATER.
