Today driving to work my needel on my gas guage was working like it always does. At lunch time i went out and noticed that the needel is jumping all over the place. going to full dropping to a quater of a tank. I filled the car up lastnight and at the most used an 1/8 - 1/4 of a tank. What the hell is going on with my guage.

 

Sounds like a loose connection.

 

i also wan tto know how to fix this mine doesnt bounce that much but it does jump a little bit... also my oil pressure needle and also my speedo do also not a hole lot but enouph to be annoying... and the weird thing is soem times they dont do it at all...

 

I'd suggest going over your fuel level sender circuitry.

 

do you think the connection would be lose in the cluster or in the tank by the float.
