dual exhaust really wakes up the car, but most of your mods are related to getting the car breathing better, that's mostly torque there... which does sort of seem a little low, but when you face the reality that 305s dont respond to mods as well as 350s then you can see that those numbers match up about right.

Congradulations on hitting the 200hp marker but modfest must continue. Or a 350 I need to get a 350 still, bleh, damn you paychecks for being so small -shakes fist at paychecks-

Those really aren't major mods. Its pretty much just a stock 305 with a slightly bigger cam and exhaust. Those numbers are about right for TPI. If you throw a carb on there you would see a major increase in HP.

You will also have to get a chip or burn one yourself to see some optimum results from those minor mods.

With what you added (not much in the power mods) the numbers are about right for the RWHP which is about 235 HP at the flywheel which is not bad.

I'd say go with a much bigger cam, like the Lt4 hot cam(but with 1.5 roller rockers instead of the adv. 1.6 which will give you about .495 lift) Then get a high flow tpi setup such as the stealthram or maybe even the edelbrocke setup. Then with another custom chip youll see a big increase. Also you would benefit from bigger valves in those heads if you dont already have them. Good Luck.

For that amount of work and money, just put a 350 in.

Yeah he could do that, but if the motor he has now is in really good running order then it would almost be a waste of money to buy a 350. Trust me I am not a big fan of hopping up 305's, mine had less than 90,000 on it and I ditched for a 350. I am just saying it sounds like he wants to stick with it since hes already done a good amount of work to it, and its a real hassle to get a 350, and those mods cost less than one. just my
