Can i Use my Stock computer chip for my Hooked up 305 TPI?

As u can see the 88' 305 TPI isnt a stock application. I put alot of work into the motor to bring out the naturally aspirated best in it. I know theres alot more to go,but im through for the mean time. Can i use the stock computer chip for the motor. I do plan on getting an ED Wright custom chip,but i cant as of now since I'm having a problem with money. Im finally about to Start the motor for the first time and ill get the timing sort out, fuel pressure checked out,but JUST FOR THE MEAN TIME CAN I USE THE STOCK CHIP. My mods are in the sig. thanks

If you have installed a complete 1988 TPI setup, you should have included a MAF sensor. That should work well enough with your modifications and the stock PROM to allow you to get running at least, and may run you fairly well.

Well considering my mods done to the car, im guessing i should have somewhere in the 300-325 hp area. Not really alot, but its enough for a 305. Didnt run the quarter mile yet cause motor is brand new and i havent started it up yet. I have every possible sensor and harness for the 88' TPI. Just concerned if i can use the stock chip since everything is modified. I've been told by many that i should at least do low 13's.

It should get you started and running, and maybe even do pretty good, seeing that it is a MAF setup. Give it a try!
