fan relay location. where the f*#K is it ?

fan relay location. where the f*#K is it ?

just swapped a tpi 305 from an 86 z28 into my 89 formula. i had the wiring harness converted for the tpi and i connected the fan and there is a connection for the relay, but i cant find the relay. do any of you guys know. ( a few people told me it was in the fender but its not there.

on the drviers side firewall, right next to the brake booster..

try that.

The relay for my '86 LG4 is next to the radiator on the passenger side.

It's not like the factory ever kept things in the same location so you could find them regardless of engine type or year.

Yeah, the fan relays for my 88 LB9 are passenger side by the radiator. The stuff on driver side firewall by the booster are the MAF burnoff and stuff like that.

Five7kid & tremo are correct on the location of the fan relays. In 1990 the location changed when they went to the MAP system and did away with the MAF power relay and the MAF burn-off relay. Incidently, these relays are the same relays used by the fans.
