what two wires do I check my TPS voltage with?
There are three wires on the TPS, labled A, B and C. What 2 do I check to ensure smooth TPS voltage? I unplugged my TPS and at idle I didn't notice any change in the way it ran, i revved it up a bit and didn't notice any change once again... is this a bad sign? I only revved it up to about 2g... i think i might unplug it and drive around to see if there is a big difference... maybe this could be the cause of my slow et?

Check out this link: TPS. Basicly, you want to slowly open and close the throttle blades, and look for sudden "spikes" or any uneveness. It should move smoothly from around .52V to 4.5V Hope this helps.

The wires are arranged top to bottom...
the top wire and middle wire are the ones you need to hook your digital volt meter to.
keep the TPS connected when you make the adjustment. to make things easier, straighten out two paper clips and slide them through the back of the Weatherpak connector, and then hook your voltmeter up to the paper clips. Or, you can make three jumpers and place the jumpers between the connector and the TPS socket. Whichever way you use, make sure you have good electrical contact with the jumpers or paper clips.
