AIR in NJ

Do I need the have the AIR system in my car for it to pass inspection in NJ? Does anyone know a good set of inexpensive headers with the AIR system if I need AIR.

Jegs sells a set of Hedman Headers with air. It comes complete with the y-pipe and O2 sensor fitting. About $310

I have some hedmans on my 85, I was looking into those ones for my 91. Hedman is really good quality too. As soon as I get the cash those hedders are mine.

great, any arguments againts them? don't the TES headers (with AIR) have the y-pipe too for ~$313? Which do you think is better, I know SLP has them but for over 400, i say no.

I haven't seen those hedders myself but I would think they're probably good since I haven't heard anything bad about em. Can you find them at nextgenparts.com I'll look into them a little bit more.

Well, next gen want 409.99 but summit wants 313.99 for the same thing,

An edelbrock tubular exhaust system replaces the stock manifolds and y-pipes...comes with hardware, gaskets, OEM-type connector flangers, heat stove, air injection, and 02 sensor fitting were applicable....

1986-90 Camaro Iroc, z-28/Firebird formula, TPI single catalyst...5.0L/5.7L...313.95, part number edl-6872

Looking at that I would probably go with those ones. For the extra buck you get all the gaskets and other needed parts. I will probably end up going with those instead. Looks to be alot better.
