Wiper problem
Wiper problem
i am having a problem with my wipers. it'll go up an inch and stop. do i need to replace the motor or what? it's supposed to rain for the rest of the next week and i need todrive my car!!!
If these cars are like the 88-95 trucks, this is easy to fix. On the wiper motor assembly, the plug that the harness plugs into is soldiered to a little circuit board. Eventually, all these soldiered joints crack, leaving bad connections and wipers that don't work right or cut out at times. Just take the cover off the wiper motor assy, pop out the circuit board, and resoldier the connections for the plug. Takes all of 15 minutes.
