please explain how it died on you.

did it sort of stumble off and die slower (than if you just turned the key off)

or did it just all of a sudden cut out (like you turned the key to the off position)?

And now you cannot get the car started, right?

When you try to start it what does it sound like? What does it do?

Do you hear the starter try to spin? Do you hear the fuel pump prime?

You probably arent getting any responses because you didnt explain well enough, so try to keep the explanations lengthy

Have you checked the fusible links down at the starter? How about your battery cables?

So you're saying you can't even crank the car over and there's no check engine light? Check your ECM fuse by the RH side of the radiator.

Yup, sounds like a fusible link.

i was out side trying to get a scantool to log on to the computer so i could see all the values of all the sensors to figure out what the "bug" is in my car and i was under the hood doing the jiggle wiggle test and then all the sudden the car died... like just poof and it was off went into the car and looked at the gauges and what not and saw that there was no check engine light on so i was like WTF... and i tried to crank it back over and it would turn over but never sounded like it wanted to start just spun.... so last night after posting i put on my jacket and shorts... it was a warm temp of 42 degrees last night .....and made me a test light out of a 194 light buld some electrical tape and some speaker wire, because all my stuff was at work ( toyota certified tech)... and i checked the 20 amp fuse by the battery..i guess its the ecm fuse mentioned above.. and i didnt have power to the fuse... but the fuse wasnt blown... so i traced it to the battery cable on the positive side... and it has power to the waterproof connector but not the fuse block it self... so i took apart the harned/fuse side of the wire and pluged it in to the connector and i had power to the other side of the connector but still not the fuse block so i think i have it narrowed down to a broken wire.... and this might also be making my car surge at high rpm's like die and shut off then start back up..... so n e ways i am gonna try to install another fusable link tomarrow and i will post up if it starts

ok so i came home sunday ready to tackle the task of getting my car to start... so i started to probe the fused wire (ecm fused wire) and found a break in the wire just below the actuall fuse block.... so i then cut and spliced in a new fused harnes.... and BAM it started.....and it also has taken care of my other problem i had... it would stumble at high rpm's...... strange huh? it wouldnt through codes because the ecm was actually loosing power at high rpms there for clearing any codes it might have had... but needless to say its not a pump and wasnt actuall ignition that was bad just the whole damn thing.... lol thanks for all yalls help and suggestions....
