A/C pressure switch location..
I have recently removed bunch or wires after getting rid of my A/C and my fan keeps staying on way below fan on temps..
I read it somewhere that it has something to do with the pressure switch being open and computer thinks the a/c is ON.
I have a single fan setup..
PS. Where is that A/C pressure switch?? or where is it hooked up to?
Thanks

I got it figured out. I disable the A/C pressure switch in the PROM and the fan is one more time working the right way.

Ahh, eprom burning to the rescue...and you don't even have to get dirty hands. I wonder if there is "secret way" to control BOTH fans in 165 like there is on the 730. There probably is, just hasn't been found yet.

the a/c high pressure switch is always on the high pressure a/c line.
Why did you take your a/c out?
You only get a slight loss of power when you have the a/c compressor on.
My fans work the way they should, but I also but a manual switch in there too for good measure.

I took it out because where i live there i only like 3 weeks of really hot weater in the summer and the rest of the year is much cooler, plus little bit of a weight loss, and much more space to work under the hood.

Makes sense man. It's hot here in mass for about 2 months in the summer. Sorry if I sounded like a jerk.

I've been tempted also to remove mine even though I am in Kamloops and it's "a/c weather from as early as mid-May to as late as mid-Sept". I just want to "clean up" my underhood and be able to get at things easily.
The car is no longer a "daily driver" and I have other cars that have a/c if comfort is a concern.

I guess you must be at Edmonton (or north)...but yeah, A/C is only a "short need" event.

I also got rid of the all emission crap including all of the air pump components. That cleaned up my engine bay even better..
