Heads
aftermarket heads won't do as much on a stock engine as they would on a modified one. what you do all depends on what you want and can afford. if you don't change anything i'd get the stock heads reworked.

putting a higher flowing head on a stock engine,,wont do much, you must go in stages,,if it breaths better,it must must be able to get it out better,IE; exhaust,,if you change the heads, especially on a stock 305,,you should go up one stage in the cam,and exhaust,,,and use a high flow AIR CLEANER,, a stock 305 has good torque,,with the stock heads, and exhaust manifolds, the only way to improve the 305 is with shear cubics,,and $$$$,the 305 has a good bore and stroke,,and is a good little package, HEADERS wont make the car go faster,,torque is what PULLS not horsepower,,the story is endless,,DO IT IN STAGES,GOOD LUCK
