350 Cast #'s inside.

Here are the numbers I got off this block. I'm hoping it's a 350. I got the numbers from the passenger side front behind the alternator. They are - F0414 B or R then A
Please help. Thanks.

I think you need to look at the back of the engine, on the ledge on the driver's side. Then go to www.mortec.com and search for it.

On the back of the block, near the hole for the distributor, you will find like a 7 or 8 digit number. That is the casting number.

On the front of the engine, where the passenger side head bolts on, you will find a pad. On that pad should be some numbers stamped in it. Get those two things and I should be able to help you out.

I can't get to it. Pretty much impossible. Isn't there numbers on the side of the block? I could jack it up no prob.
