Engine: 5.0
Transmission: 5 speeds
help car won`t rev

it`s a 92 rs v8 5 speed it idles fine and drives pretty good but it doesn`t accelerate hard past 3000 rpms and it misses i tought it was the spark plugs, change them yest very little diference what else should i look at? thanxs in advance.

you say v-8...i assume it a 305...tpi? tbi?

forgot yes it`s a 305 v8 tbi with slp headers dual cats 3inch exhaust system

i would look at all of your ignition system. then go from there.....might be the throttle body, but i'm not sure

tune-up time!

plugs (already done but stating anyways)
spark plug wires
distributor cap
rotor

after that's done i bet you'll get a little higher power band atleast.

i found it !!!!! i changed the fuel filter, voila! that was it. now we know. thanxs guys. :lala:
