Car: yy wife, crazy.
Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
What options on each car?

That Monte Carlo site says lists Curb Weight, but is that a stripped down Monte or one with A/C, power windows.... etc?

I'd say option-to-option they're both pretty close to each other.

My 1985 SS with a TH350 and 9" rear and aluminum wheels weighed in at 3380lbs (before the cage) - fully loaded all options except T-tops - the 9" is heavier than the stock 7.5" also. That's lighter than my IROC that doesn't have power windows. I believe the weight difference has something to do with the full unibody construction of the IROC (the SS has a full frame) and the rear hatch glass (glass weighs a lot more than sheet metal).

I love Camaro's, but Monte's have some kinda rough and powerful look....hard to describe. I'm picking up a new daily driver in the end of jan. another third gen or Monte if I can find a good price.
