EGR Removal?

Would it cause problems if I removed the egr from my 1987 lg4 4bbl?

well if you have e check it will, or might. it was put there for a reason, preformance wasn't it. lot of people do block it off with no problems. you could do it and it you have problems remove the block off plate.

Unless you have a problem with the EGR or the space it occupies, there is really no reason to remove it. It doesn't cost you any performance if it is working correctly. Before you decide, you should probably read the Tech Article on EGR function. GM Tech wrote the article, and was pretty thorough in describing its benefits for performance.
