Is the L98 cam and L05 cam the same?
This guy keeps telling me that the cam from an 89 L98 is the same as the cam in the 89 L05 9C1 police package. I can hardly find any info on the 9C1 engine. I know the L98 cam is 207/213 .415/.430. And I belive the L05 cam is 194/202 .385/.403. Can someone set this straight for me?

Well if those measurements are accurate, then they are most definetly NOT the same cam.

Basically, from what the tread says, the stock L05 got the L03 Cam and The 9C1 L05 got the L98 cam. But there are some model discrepancies. Read this thread.
