is it true that you must reset the timing when useing a nos system?

Its true that your timing will have to be adjusted when using any nitrous system, not just a nos system.

ignore lj there's nothing says you have to adjust or readjust your timing, you should note however that you may not like or get the results you desire. why don't you try the search option or even reading on the power adder forum.

Yeah, dont back the timing off a few degrees, hit it with a 150 shot and see what happens. You might get lucky.

GO over to the power adders forum and read up on it. Whatever you do, dont refer to nitrous as NOS. Nos is a brand name, nitrous is what you are wanting to use.

reset timing to stock if you like knocking and backfires when you spray... otherwise retard it or better yet get a MSD retard box which is easier to use

I think you need to narrow your plug gap too.



Oh, and if you get two bottles, two of the big ones, you will spray twice as much and your top speed will go from 140 to 160 without a gear change.

Man, I just heard from a guy at work that they are making ANOTHER one of these damn movies, something about Vin Diesel going to Japan or something and doing "major drifting"......They need to let this crap die really.....Just when I thought the streets were safe, they gotta make another one of thse movies....Damn Street Racers!
