biggest cam

ok i did a search and couldn't find what i wanted. i know that it has been discused before but i still couldn't find. what is the biggest cam i can go with on 87-95 350. every thing will be stock for now. i am pulling the engine and putting it into a different car. it will carbed so i won't have to worry about chip buring. i figured that with the engine out it will make it a lot easier to do the swap. I am waiting on tax returns to do it so it will be a little bit before i do any of this but it will give me an idea of what i can do thanks.

Are you saying the the biggest cam that the stock heads can take? If so i would say nothing bigger than .470 lift on the stock springs. I would look into the comp XE256 cam which is what I am running in my 350 right now. Its got great low end torque and is perfect for daily driving.
